- I will agree with Loretta Kemsley; however, that the use of "sweetheart" and "the way he said it" was very disrespectful, and he meant it to be disrespectful. Personally, I think it just makes him look like a jerk, and he turned off a lot of potential women voters. Bonus!

- I'm not a Christie nor Romney fan. But, there is nothing here that implies neither a sexual joke nor innuendo. Move along people, and stop trying to make something out of absolutely nothing. It serves no purpose.

- The "article" stated that this premature baby born was at approximately 6 months, and only 9.5 ounces. Most of the posters above had a child at 28 weeks, approximately 7 months of gestation, and close to, or above, 2 pounds when born.

- Chris, great post. I had a Nurse Practitioner who had told me that her 4th child was born so prematurely that he had to stay in the hospital for more than a year, and that he was blind, deaf, and she was unsure what other disabilities they would be facing.

- Jim, and it's not about paying "property taxes." It's about LEGAL residence. Many of our Mafia friends in both the House and Senate have plenty of rental properties. It's where they Live & Represent -- WE the People -- that is what is at issue here.

- Jim, because as a Senator or State Representative, your primary residence must be in the state of your Constituents. Your "primary residence" can't be in VA, when you represent the people of PA. What am I missing here?

I was reading your posts on the health care debate and I think you and I largely agree. We find it hard to understand why the richest country in the world has no safety net for the working poor when it comes to health care. Where you lose me is when you say HOW ARE WE GOING TO PAY FOR IT? I do not know either but I trust the political party that has demonstrated the most rational financial behavior to get it done, and I do not mean the Republicans. The Republicans are the ones who lead us into a costly and misguided war, they are the ones who passed a prescription plan without funding, they are the ones who brought us No Child Left Behind and cut the budget out from under it. I could go on, but you get the idea. An unfunded mandate is the Republican way but Democrats are expected to pay up front.
